3. Hosting by Cloudflare
We use the Content Delivery Network (CDN) provided by Cloudflare (Cloudflare Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA) to increase the security and loading speed of our website.
Type of Data: IP address, system configuration information.
Legal Basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure and fast website).
Security: We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) with Cloudflare. Data transmission to the USA takes place on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
4. Contact Form (Brevo API)
If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your details from the form, including the contact details you provided there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry.
Transmission: For technical transmission, we use the API of the service provider Brevo (Sendinblue GmbH, Köpenicker Straße 126, 10179 Berlin).
Legal Basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contractual or pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (answering your inquiry).
Data Deletion: The data will remain with us until you ask us to delete it or the purpose for data storage no longer applies.
5. Cookies and TDDDG Notice
This website exclusively uses technically necessary cookies or functions that are absolutely required for the operation of the site.
Legal Basis: § 25 (2) No. 2 TDDDG.
Since no tracking or marketing cookies are used, no explicit consent (cookie banner) is required.

7. Cloudflare Turnstile (Spam Protection)
We use the "Turnstile" service provided by Cloudflare Inc. (101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA) on our website. Turnstile is used to check whether data entered on our website (e.g., in a contact form) is entered by a human or by an automated program (bot).
Processing: unlike traditional CAPTCHAs, Turnstile does not evaluate individual user data for identification purposes, but processes technical information (e.g., IP address, browser configuration, session data) to detect bot behavior.
Legal Basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the security of our website and protection against spam and automated attacks).
Transmission: Data processing is secured by the previously mentioned Data Processing Addendum (DPA) with Cloudflare.
8. Web Analytics with Matomo
We use the open-source software Matomo to analyze user behavior on this website. Matomo is self-hosted on our own server at analyse.marcweidemueller.de. All data remains exclusively on this server and is not shared with third parties.
Type of Data: IP address (anonymized — last two bytes removed), pages visited, time on site, referrer, browser and device type.
Cookies: Matomo is operated without cookies. No tracking cookies are set.
Legal Basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the anonymized analysis of user behavior to improve our service).
Data Deletion: Data is automatically deleted after 13 months.
